Crude Oil Gains Over 1%; Cooper-Standard Shares Plummet



U.S. stocks traded lower toward the end of trading, with the Nasdaq Composite falling around 0.5% on Friday.

The Dow traded down 0.24% to 38,681.46 while the NASDAQ fell 0.56% to 15,816.84. The S&P 500 also fell, dropping, 0.27% to 5,016.06.

In trading on Friday, communication services shares fell by 1.4%.

Shares of TreeHouse Foods, Inc. (NYSE: THS) fell around 16% on Friday after the company reported worse-than-expected fourth-quarter revenue results and issued FY24 outlook below estimates.

The company reported fourth-quarter adjusted EPS of 77 cents, beating the analyst consensus of 73 cents. Quarterly net sales of $910.8 million missed the consensus of $925.44 million.


Equities Trading UP


The Trade Desk, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTD) shares shot up 17% to $88.65 after the company reported mixed fourth-quarter financial results.

Shares of PRA Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRAA) got a boost, surging 13% to $27.66 following upbeat results.
